Guam's Premier Swimming Event for over
​25 Years, an International Open Ocean Swim.

For more than 25 years, the annual Guam Cocos Crossing has been Guam’s premier international swimming event attracting hundreds of swimmers from Guam, the Western Pacific, Asia, Australia and beyond. Hosted by the two oldest swim clubs on Guam, the Manukai Athletic Club and the Manhoben Swim Club, the Guam Cocos Crossing supports our local swim teams and promotes the beauty of our island to our local and international swimmers. ​

As the island’s most recognized swimming event, the Guam Cocos Crossing is supported and promoted by the Guam Visitors Bureau as a key sports tourism event featuring the stunning beauty of our southern shores and warm Hafa Adai spirit. In addition to an exciting competition, the event also features a fiesta and local entertainment supported by the mayor and villagers of Merizo.​

3 Swim Options, 3k, 5k & 10k.

Swimmers have the choice of three popular options to suit their levels.  Swimmers may compete for awards in the 3k Race, which goes from Cocos Island to the Merizo public pier, the 5k Race, which completes a triangle course starting from the Merizo public pier, out to Cocos Island and back, and the 10k Race, which completes the 5k triangle course twice. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers per age/gender categories, and all event participants receive a finisher medalllion and certificate, and an event shirt and ditty bag.  Please note that we are no longer offering the Neptune Swim.
